CareFlight flies to the rescue of Australians in need, bringing hospital-level care to their side.

CareFlight’s mission is to save lives, speed recovery and serve the community. We are committed to providing the highest standard of rapid response critical care to the ill and injured.

Our doctors and nurses fly on helicopters, turbo-prop and jet air ambulances, to destinations throughout Australia and beyond

CareFlight relies on the generosity of everyday Australians to ensure our specialist medical crews are there to make a difference when a person’s life hangs in the balance. We transport and care for more than 8,800 Australians each year.

We also arm emergency first responders with the skills they need to treat trauma patients at the scene of a motor vehicle accident, or other type of emergency. Our MediSim trauma care program helps especially in regional areas where communities need support and it can take some time for professional medical help to arrive. We have trained over 7,000 first responders to treat trauma patients Australia-wide.
